If someone's campaign or notice interests you, or you feel you could pass on some useful insight into an issue, the best thing to do is comment on the site. This way you will encourage other people to join in too. 如果有人的倡議或是公告吸引你興趣，或是你覺得你可以在該議題上，傳達一些個人的洞見，最好的方式是直接在網頁上評論。這個方式將激起他人也參與討論。
However if you don't want to comment publically you can send a message. Messages from other Action Network members appear in the My messages section and can be found in My network. 然而，如果你不想公開的評論，你就可以用信息發送的方式。來自行動網會員的信息，會出現在會員個人信息處，並且可以在會員的網絡上找到。
Why are there messages on Action Network? 為什麼行動網有信息？
As with posts on the site, we recommend that you think very carefully before you give out personal details such as your email address, phone numbers or home or work addresses. Some people are more protective of their email address and details than others. 像是在網頁上的郵政，在你發佈個人細節之前，像是你的email位址、電話號碼以及居家或工作地址，我們提醒你最好先仔細想清楚。有些人對他們的地址及細節的保護比其他人來的高。
We recognise that, in order for you to work together effectively with other people, you may need to get in touch with them outside of Action Network. The message system was designed to allow people to make initial contact without having to exchange emails. 為了幫你們與他人工作更有效率，我們理解你們也許需要與行動網外的人們接觸。這個信息系統就是設計，讓人們在一開始接觸時不用彼此交換email。
Are messages private? 信息是私人/個人的嗎？
Messages do not appear on the main site and cannot be seen by any other Action Network members. However, for security reasons messages can be monitored by bbc staff and moderators. 信息不會出現在主要的網頁上，並且不會被其他任何行動網的會員傳送。然而，由於安全考量，信息將被bbc職員與仲裁者監控。
The site rules also apply to messages and complaints will be considered by the moderators as usual. 網頁上的規則同樣適用於信息與投訴，照往前交由仲裁者定奪。
How do I send a message? 如何發送信息？
Names of Action Network members appear throughout the site. Whenever someone posts on the sit their name will appear at the top of their post. To send a message first click on the persons name to go to their profile. 行動網會員們的姓名在網頁上隨處可見。每當有人在網頁上貼上姓名，將會出現在他們發佈的上方。發送一個信息，首先點一下人物姓名，進到他們的人物簡介。
In the top left there is a link to send that person a message. Click on it and then write your message in the text box. When you are finished click the ‘Send message' button. 在上方左邊有一個發送信息的連結。點一下，之後在文字框格中寫你的信息。寫完，再點一下”發送信息”按鈕。
Remember that some users may check their messages infrequently, in which case it may take them a while to get back to you. Often it is quicker to post a comment on their post instead. 記住，有些使用者可能不太會檢查信息，這樣的情形將可能得花上一段時間才會有所回應。通常的作法是貼上評論作為替代。
